Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve got planned:
-We’ll post a complete list on Thursday night of RSD titles we’ll have stocked.
-We open at 10 a.m. The first 5 folks in line will get to come in 5 minutes earlier than everyone else. They will also get a free RSD poster (artwork above!). Most everyone that comes in the morning will get a killer grab bag of tons of free stuff.
-Please park across the street from the record store in the gravel lot next to Napa Auto. DO NOT PARK at the business behind or next door to the record store, please.
-High Point coffee will be out front starting at 8:30 a.m. selling coffee for a buck a cup. All proceeds go to MusiCares.
-Remember, only 1 copy per title per person of the RSD releases. You may buy up to 2 copies of our RSD Cassette Compilation. Just in case you need an extra. There are no holds or special orders on any of these titles.
-BBQ will be served just after noon by Confit Web Design.
-Our very own keg of “Straight to Tape IPA” will be tapped around 2 p.m. from Yalobusha Brewing Co. Beer is free but limited and you must be 21 years old and stay inside the store to drink it. We’ll have some sodas for those not interested in beer.
-Sweet treats served throughout the afternoon by Mary McGuire’s Cakes of Tupelo, MS.
-Cole from Dead Gaze will be DJing all afternoon out front.
-After party at Proud Larry’s featuring Young Buffalo, E-Meters, Talbot Adams, Bella Machine, Mark Ademac, Sean O’Hara, and a DJ set by Airships. Show will start around 8:30 p.m. Come party with us!
