We just want to thank everyone for coming out to the shop on Record Store Day.  It was our single best day since opening in March of 2012!

This year we really wanted to make RSD more about the community surrounding The End of All Music rather than all the limited edition release. Don’t get us wrong, the releases were plentiful this year and most of them ruled, but we really wanted to throw a big party for everyone, and it was a blast.

Thanks to all the folks that waited patiently in line.  Thanks to all the local businesses–Yalobusha Brewing Co., Confit, Hight Point Coffee, Mary McGuire’s Cakes–for helping us throw a great block party.  Thanks to Cole Furlow of Dead Gaze for providing the perfect playlist all afternoon.  Thanks to all the bands that helped make our first record release a success.  We seriously think the RSD cassette compilation marks a special time in the Oxford music scene.  It’s damn impressive to see so many good bands come from our little town.

So thanks again for supporting The End of All Music. We love y’all!
