We don’t pick holiday albums for our ROTM Club often, but when Atlantic/STAX announced this fine reissue of Booker T. & The MG’s In the Christmas Spirit, we knew this was it. Christmas music can be, for the lack of a better word, repetitive and annoying, but not this one. This is classic Memphis soul/R&B for a full on boogie Christmas.
