We’re really excited to announce that we’ll be moving to a new downtown location in January 2018. We’ve had an amazing run on the North Side of Oxford since opening in March of 2012. This little metal building has been a dream come true and a lot of fun. We’ve made so many friends and sold so many great records, and we know our new spot will be even better, with more great records and lots of new friends.

You can find the new shop at 103A Courthouse Square upstairs above Nella in the Duvall’s building and right next door to University Sporting Goods. Just look for our “RECORDS” sign! We’ll also be open until 9 p.m. Wed-Saturday! So come see us at nighttime, which is something we’ve always wanted to say.

We plan on opening at the new spot sometime during the week of January 15th with a Grand Opening celebration on Friday, January 19th.

We’ll also be celebrating a new release from pal Cody Rogers. We’re pressing an exclusive cassette version of his new solo album, My Heart is the Most Lonesome Rodeo. Cody will be stopping by the shop at 5:30 p.m. to play a few songs before his full gig later that night at Proud Larry’s. Read more about Cody’s record here.

Lastly, we’ll be having a MASSIVE SALE at our old location on North Lamar from January 15-17. Tons of records priced to move. Lots of $1 LPs and 45s plus we’ll be selling some equipment, CDs, store fixtures, posters, and more. Come buy a lot of stuff so we don’t have to move it all! We’ll also allow some haggling on the last day of the sale…so come ready to make some deals.

Thanks for all the support through the first 6 years. Thanks for buying records. And come see us in the new spot!
