Record Store Day is Saturday, April 21st!
We’ll be open normal business hours (10 a.m. – 9 p.m.) at our new location on the Square in downtown Oxford.
The official list of RSD titles is out now! We won’t be able to stock everything on the list but we are planning on having more RSD stock this year than we’ve ever had in the past. So make The End of All Music your RSD destination this year…we won’t disappoint. Record Store Day titles are only available at independent record stores. These titles are sold on a first come, first served basis and only 1 copy per title per customer. No holds and no phone orders. We will post any remaining RSD titles in our online shop on Monday, April 23rd. We plan on posting a list a week in advance of all RSD titles we’ll have in stock…so you’ll know what to expect.
Just like every other Record Store Day we have tons of free swag to give away. The first 50 or so folks in line will get a free tote bag stuffed full of goodies from all your favorite record labels. We’ll also be raffling off limited test pressings and lots of other goodies. So come early and stay late!
We’re teaming up with Muscle Beach records again to release a new compilation cassette+koozie mashup. The tape features all your favorite Muscle Beach artists with a heavy dose of local Oxford talent. The artwork (seen below with track listing) for the release was done by J. Burwell. These are limited to 100 copies and will be available only at The End of All Music on Record Store Day.
Our buddy Patrick McKee (of Rose Room fame) designed this year’s RSD shirt. These are going to look amazing and are limited to just 50 shirts. The basic design is below but we’re saving the finished product for the big day 😉
We’ll be having an official after party at Proud Larry’s with Young Valley, Swear Tapes, Dreamland Gateway, and a DJ set from PW Franci$. Tickets are $10. We’ll be giving away free tickets throughout the day…so stay on your toes! Both Young Valley and Swear Tapes will be celebrating new record releases!! So it’s a double special night.
