Record Store Day is almost here. We wanted to let you guys know what we’re planning and how things are going down at the shop on 4/20.
We’ll be opening at 10 a.m. like always and closing at 6 p.m. (regular business hours).
We’ll have tons of RSD releases, but for now we aren’t exactly sure what all we’ll have. We requested almost everything on the list. We’ll post a full list of releases on 4/19 so you’ll know exactly what we’ll have.
The first 5 folks in line when we open on 4/20 will get to come in the store for 5 minutes before everyone else. Then we’ll open up for everyone else. There will be some cool freebies for everyone that comes early…while supplies last.
You may only buy 1 copy of each release. No holds. The RSD titles are strictly first come, first served. If we have any titles left over after 4/20 we can sell over the phone.
We’ll be raffling off a BEACH HOUSE prize package. The package includes: a pair of tickets to the BEACH HOUSE/HOLY SHIT/DENT MAY show at THE LYRIC on Tuesday, April 23; two copies of a limited, colored vinyl Beach House 7″; and 2 limited edition Beach House posters. We’ll pick the winner at 4 p.m. You can still buy tickets for the Beach House show over at the Lyric website.
R. Cole Furlow of DEAD GAZE will be DJing in the shop all afternoon.
And lastly, we’ll be grilling hot dogs all afternoon. So stick around and hang out.
