Saturday, February 22 at 4 p.m. we’ll be hosting Jimbo Mathus for a special in-store performance to celebrate the release of his latest album, Dark Night of the Soul, on Fat Possum Records! Jimbo will be performing a full set later that night at The Round Table on the Square.
We’ll be raffling off a pair of tickets to The Round Table gig at the store before the in-store show starts. So come early!
Jimbo’s ninth album, The Dark Night of the Soul, will be out February 18, and we’ll have LPs and CDs available.
Mathus recorded the album over the course of nearly a year at Dial Back Sound Studio with his band, The Tri-State Coalition. The Dark Night of the Soul will be the follow-up to Jimbo Mathus’ Fat Possum debut White Buffalo.
