UPDATE! We’re hosting a social media contest for the first two spots in line on Record Store Day. Check out the Facebook contest here and the Instagram contest here. Contest closes Friday, April 12th at noon. Winners will be announced via live drawing on Facebook Live and Instagram Stories later that day.
THE BIG DAY IS SATURDAY, APRIL 13th. We will open at 10 a.m.
Check out the list of official Record Store Day titles right here.
We’re releasing our very own RSD title this year featuring two of our favorite Oxford artists–Anne Freeman & Kate Teague. The proceeds will benefit Memory Makers–a charity based right here in Oxford. Lots of info on this release can be found here.
You can follow our Facebook event right here.
We won’t be stocking everything on the list but we plan on going big this year and stocking a lot of it. SEE BELOW FOR A LIST OF ALL THE OFFICIAL RSD TITLES WE’LL BE STOCKING FOR THE DAY**
Record Store Day titles are only available at independent record stores. We cannot hold any titles nor are there preorders. All RSD titles will be for sale starting Saturday, April 13th at 10 a.m. when we open. RSD titles are sold on a first come, first served basis and only 1 copy of each title can be purchased by an individual.
CASH AND CREDIT CARD CHECKOUT LINES! We will have two lines to checkout for Record Store Day this year. One line will accept CASH AND CREDIT CARDS. The other line will be CASH ONLY–this line will probably be much faster, so bring cash if you’d like. We’ll also be swiping credit cards all day so no sweat if that’s what you’re rolling with 🙂
Lastly, we will list any remaining RSD titles in our online shop starting Sunday afternoon, April 14th. Please don’t support eBay flippers. We’ll help you find what you’re looking for at the regular retail price.
The official RSD After Party will be at Proud Larry’s later that night (snag tickets here!). Anne Freeman & the Garbage Sons will be headlining. Starman Jr. and Okey Dokey will also be playing along with one very special secret set in between. Check out the facebook event page here.
We’ll have these exclusive Record Store Day titles in stock on April 13th:
We’re putting out a split 7-inch single featuring two of our favorite Oxford artists–Kate Teague and Anne Freeman. The single is pressed on colored vinyl and limited to 300 copies. All proceeds will benefit Memory Makers–a charity based right here in Oxford. Read more on that here.
